Indian cricketers and their pads

What's up with the pads worn by the indian batsmen. It's amazing that Tendulkar making gazillion dollars still wears the old, worn out , strap and buckle pads with all kinds of foam stuffed into it. Can anyone tell me why? I think its a mind set a mind filled with superstition and whole bunch of psycho bable that if I wear these pads they'll bring me good luck ...I used to think like that too but I gave that kind of thinking up. That's the reason why they can't win and dominate I think India with the amount of cricket lovers and players it has should be a cricketer manufacturing and dominate the world of cricket. But nope, they can't they got that same dumb ass mentality of thinking hey if I do this and if I do that I will win...no you got to go out there and take the bull by the horns you got to be relentless in your pursuit for success and have to have a fire in your belly to win. take yourself to the limit where you can talk to the angels instead of wearing a certain type of pads for goodluck. Its seems like they also don't like to keep them clean probably thinking that if they carry the dirt from the ground where they last made a 100 it would help...no it ain't bro...On the other side of the border it's not that bad..although you do see Inzamam sometimes wear these pads like he was rolling in them on the streets for about a year. Now lets look at the Aussies, I don't see Hayden, Langer, Ponting, Symonds, Clarke or Hussey wear any ancient pads or gloves they come out wearing sparkling kits innnings after innings and spank the ball harder and make more runs and keep winning. Now some of you might be thinking what the heck does the style of your pads has to do with wining. Its the mindset my friend.....the people from that part of the world depend too much on good luck charms as opposed to just doin it....hopefully the nike logo will send subliminal messages to their brain and they will change. Hey I am not saying that Hayden and Ponting are not superstitious probably Ponting is wearing the same jock strap since his debut but atleast we don't have to see it.
